Chevron Products Company has awarded VECO a three-year, multimillion dollar engineering alliance contract covering Chevron's 42 product terminals across the United States.
The Bellingham VECO office will be heavily involved in the alliance, overseeing work in terminals in Oregon, California and Hawaii, said Ken Koch, vice president of business development.
VECO will provide several different engineering services for the oil industry giant, including project design, feasibility and conceptual design work. Koch said he's not sure how this large contract will impact the Bellingham office, but he does anticipate more staff will be needed.
