Qld: Bolger says Nats face worse result if centralised
BRISBANE, Jan 11 AAP - A move by John Anderson to centralise National Party preselectionsand funding could backfire, the party's Queensland president Terry Bolger said today.
Mr Bolger will attend a party management committee next month where the party's federalleader is expected to lead a reform push.
The party's federal hierarchy wants wide-ranging changes to the party structure inthe wake of the Nationals loss of three seats to the Liberal Party and independents inthe November election.
Mr Bolger said he will go to the meeting with an open mind.
